Pasta Time!

We had a lovely time in Forest School today! Mrs Fuller  cooked us pasta with tomato sauce and cheese on top; it was delicious!

We also had fun on the swings and making things with clay.

Thank you to Mrs Garlinge, Mrs Rose and Mrs Ridge for helping!

No forest school next week, but we will have a fire on the 10th July!

Feeling hot hot hot!

What a hot day for Forest School!

We decided to postpone the fire and have ice lollies instead! We also used the bow saw to cut discs of wood. We then painted these with the theme of Little Red Riding Hood which we are studying in our English lessons!

Thank you to our helpers for coming along today!

Art Week in Turtles – Recycling!

In Turtle Class we considered the consequences of poor recycling and the overuse of non-recyclable plastics and materials. We discussed items you can and cannot recycle and whether we actually recycle things that we should. Do you?

We imagined a world in the future where there is so much rubbish the landfills are overflowing and people live among the rubbish….

We had a great time weaving and shaping foil to create our sculpture! Come into school at 9am on Monday to see the finished piece!

Friendship at Forest School

Today we made some lovely friendship bracelets!

We enjoyed twisting the different coloured wool and giving them to our friends. It then felt really good when a friend gave one to us!

We are looking forward to a fire in our next session on the 12th June.
